6 Days Morocco Desert & Imperial Cities Tour

Day 1: Arrival Casablanca airport

Your driver/guide will welcome you at Casablanca international airport anddrive to Marrakesh through the high way, you will have the chance todiscover the Medina of Marrakesh in half-day city tour if you arrive early.

Day 2: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains –Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Gorges

Our Marrakech to Fes 4 days desert tour start from Marrakech at 8am totravel over the stunning High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n’Tichka (alt2260 m). We will stop to enjoy impressive landscapes and visit the Argan oilcooperative. After lunch at a local restaurant we will have the afternoon tovisit UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou. In Ourzazate we will stopto visit the cinema studios Atlas; here many international famous films wereshot such as: the jewel of the Nile, the Lawrence of Arabia, The kingdom ofHeaven, Galdiator, …. After exploring the studios, we will continue ourjourney towards Ouarzazate, where we will stop again to discover a hiddengem in the heart of City; the Kasbah Taourirte, built in the 17 th centuryand one of the world heritage sites. Aterward, we will continue our journeyto Dades Gorges through the green palm grove of Skoura and the road ofthousand Kasbahs to reach the

Day 3: Dades – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast in the hotel, drive back through the valley to see theamazing rock formation “the monkey toes”, and the still-standing 19thcentury Kasbah of Ait Yul. Leaving the Dades valley towards Tinrghir and theTodra valley you’ll see the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villagesoverlooking the valley. Arriving at the Gorge you’ll walk under the 300mhigh red cliff, where many rock-climbers come to enjoy their preferredsport. Continuing our trip to Erfoud to reach the village of Merzouga, aftera welcome mint tea you will experience camel trek in Sahara, guided by anexperienced camel man, to explore inside the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. Here you’ll spend your first night under the stars, or if youprefer, in a traditional Berber nomad tent. Dinner will be served in thecamp and you will sleep under nomadic tents. Day 4: Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Middle Atlas – Midelt – Fes

Early morning your camel guide will wake you up to watch what well may bethe best sunrise in your life. Afterwards you will camel trek back to yourRiad in Merzouga. After breakfast, you’ll travel to Midelt via the towns ofErfoud and Errachidia, drive along the magnificent rich Ziz valley. Hereyou’ll stop to enjoy the panoramic view over the Ziz Canyon before continueto Fes through the city of Midelt, where we will stop to have lunch. Afterlunch we will continue our journey to Fes via Azrou, a berber village in theMiddle Atlas Mountains, before which we stop to see the Barbarian apes inthe famous Cedar forest. And then, head to Ifrane “the French village”, tostop for some photos or a drink before heading on to your accommodation inFes.

Day 5: Half Day in Fes and head to Chefchaouen

Day 6: Chefchaouen – Rabat – Casablanca
